SELF ARCHIVING POLICY
Purpose of Self-Archiving
The Journal of Indian Knowledge Studies (JIKS) encourages authors to disseminate their research widely through self-archiving practices that enhance the visibility, accessibility, and scholarly impact of their published work.
Author Archiving Rights
Authors are permitted to archive and share their published articles, accepted manuscripts, or final published versions on personal websites, institutional repositories, academic networks, and other non-commercial platforms.
Citation and Acknowledgment Requirement
All archived versions must clearly acknowledge JIKS as the original source of publication and include complete bibliographic information to ensure proper citation and academic integrity.
Institutional and Subject Repositories
Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in institutional, disciplinary, or open-access repositories to facilitate long-term preservation and broader dissemination of research.
Preservation of Academic Integrity
Any archived content must accurately reflect the published version of the article and should not contain modifications that could misrepresent the original scholarly record.
Enhancing Research Visibility
JIKS supports self-archiving as a means of increasing research discoverability, promoting scholarly collaboration, and advancing the global exchange of knowledge in the field of Indian Knowledge Studies.
