To ensure a smooth review and publication process, authors are requested to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the academic and formatting standards of the Journal of Indian Knowledge Studies (JIKS). Well-structured and professionally presented manuscripts enhance readability, facilitate peer review, and improve the overall quality of scholarly communication.

Manuscript Formatting Requirements

  • Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and scholarly English or Hindi.
  • Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing.
  • Maintain standard page margins and number all pages consecutively.
  • The manuscript should be submitted in an editable MS Word format.

Recommended Manuscript Structure

Authors should organize their manuscripts in the following sequence:

1. Title Page

  • Concise and informative title
  • Author(s) name(s)
  • Institutional affiliation(s)
  • Corresponding author details

2. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract of 150–250 words summarizing the study
  • 4–6 relevant keywords reflecting the core theme of the manuscript

3. Main Text

  • Analysis and Discussion

Tables, Figures, and Illustrations

  • Tables, charts, photographs, and figures should be numbered sequentially.
  • Each visual element must include a clear title or caption.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for any copyrighted material used.

Language and Academic Style

  • Manuscripts should demonstrate academic rigor, clarity, and coherence.
  • Avoid grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors.
  • Technical terms, abbreviations, and specialized concepts should be clearly explained when first introduced.

Authors must ensure that:
